| About the Harlan Institute |
About the Harlan Institute The Harlan Institute was founded in 2009 in honor of Justice John Marshall Harlan I. Justice Harlan was one of the greatest constitutional scholars of his era. In his teachings, he sought to impart to his students the meaning of the Constitution by explaining that "which went before." The Institute seeks to continue Justice Harlan's proud tradition of constitutional education. The Harlan Institute has a focused vision, and concrete plan, to prepare cutting-edge education initiatives. We are focusing on two primary offerings: YourConstitution.net, an interactive multimedia site featuring famous Supreme Court cases, and FantasySCOTUS.org, a fantasy league for the Supreme Court geared to teach high school students about the Constitution. |
